The challenge: a better product experience, without the overhead
John Lewis needed an automated solution to give shoppers a richer experience on its product pages. The team wanted customers to gain a deeper understanding of the products they were viewing before buying, to build brand affinity and reduce returns, all without the cost and effort of manually building and maintaining content page by page.
The solution: INpages, live and inline
John Lewis activated the Flixmedia INpages service, unlocking an automated flow of live, rich, branded content. INpages deliver a consistent brand voice and detailed product features inline, presented within the existing John Lewis product pages for a transformed and highly engaging shopping experience.
The result: measurable, incremental revenue
INpages drove a clear increase in shopper engagement and improved conversion, thanks to the rich branded content now on John Lewis product pages. Multiple 50:50 A/B tests run internally by John Lewis proved the solution delivered considerable incremental revenue.
Online revenue rose by 5%. Average order value and conversion both rose by 3%. One global toy brand saw its conversion rate climb by 55% and average order value jump by 13%.
Key stats
A 5% average increase in revenue. A 3% average uplift in sales conversion. A 3% average uplift in average order value.
